Thammasat University’s SIIT and UWE sign partnership agreement

Thammasat University’s Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) have signed a historic agreement with the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE). This partnership will allow students from both universities to partake in exchange programmes, guest lectures from visiting academics and of course form closer ties between two world class institutions. International Partnerships Manager for the Asia Pacific region Professor Ray Priest was thrilled with the announcement:

“All of us at the University of the West of England, Bristol, are excited at the prospect of our new partnership with SIIT, Thailand. We really believe that the collaboration will bring many benefits to the students of the two institutions and we are looking forward to planning our first joint activities.”

Professor Priest was keen to add Plan-IT role in the process: “Plan It Education Consultants have played a significant part in bringing the two universities together and will be involved in developing and supporting the partnership.”

He added “UWE Bristol is proud to be associated with SIIT and Plan It Education Consultants, both innovative partners seeking to develop high quality educational opportunities for students in Thailand.”
