Key Objective:

To apply effective supervisory and people management and interpersonal skills, including conducting interviews, issuing work instructions, managing conflict for positive outcome and using effective communication and rapport building to enhance improved worker and team performance.

· Describe the role and performance criteria for the effective supervisor

· Identify developmental needs that will bridge the gap between present and desired supervisory performance

· Focus on how to enable open and honest communications between you, your employees, your manager and your peers

· Identify specific ways a you can enhance your ability to positively respond to employee needs

· Discuss how to build employee morale through delegation of authority for decision making and implementation responsibility of specific tasks

By the end of the workshop, the participants will have/be able to:

· Develop their supervisory skills

· Develop and maintain a positive mental attitude

· Improve their communication skills

· Enhance their interpersonal skills and their goal setting and action planning skills

· The necessary tools, techniques & skills to take more responsibility for managing work in his / her area

· Improve his / her personal ability to lead a group in pursuit of individual and corporate effectiveness.
